NewJeans Danielle is one of the new 4th gen female K-pop idols that fans and netizens often talk about. She usually goes viral for her gorgeous visuals and proportions. Some even say that she has a “Disney-type” of face.

Well, Danielle’s beauty comes from her Korean mother and Australian father., which makes her a Korean-Australian idol and bilingual (English and Korean). She was born in Munsan, Paju, Gyeonggi-do in South Korea, and her Korean name is Mo Jihye. Her surname, Mo, is rare in Korea, with only 20,000 people using this surname. It is said that she’s part of the Hampyeong Mo clan.

NMIXX Lily is also a mixed-race 4th gen female K-pop idol. She was born to an Australian father (named Bruce Marrow) and a Korean mother (named Park Jinhee). Like Danielle, she is also a Korean-Australian idol. But unlike the NewJeans member, Lily was born and raised in Victoria, Australia. Her Korean name is Park Jin.

Naturally, because of her two ethnicities, NMIXX Lily can speak both in English and Korean. But she also knows basic Japanese.

Next on our list is Kep1er Huening Bahiyyih, who is probably one of the well-known mixed-race K-pop idols, especially since her older brother TXT Huening Kai made his debut prior to her.

It is also a known fact among fans that Bahiyyih’s mom is Korean and her father is American with Polish, British, and German ancestry, but he was born in Brazil. So, Bahiyyih is Korean-American.

Her Korean name is Jung Bahiyyih, and the languages she speaks are Korean, English, and Mandarin.

One of the two new BLACKSWAN members (introduced in May 2022), Gabi is also a mixed-raced K-pop idol. Although BLACKSWAN initially debuted as RaNia back in April 2011, the group rebranded as BLACKSWAN in mid-2020 and all four members are new, which makes them seem like an entirely new group.

Gabi is a Brazilian-German and her real name is Gabriela Starssburger Dalcin. It is unknown which one between her mother and father is German and Brazilian. She was born in Brazil, particularly in Florianópolis.

Can you name other 4th gen female K-pop idols with mixed races?
