Blackpink had a 'big trouble' Jisoo and Lisa ended up being boycotted

Ji Soo was entangled in controversy because of the movie ‘Snowdrop,’ Lisa was contagious because Chinese netizens demanded to boycott Adidas – the Black Pink brand as a representative.

The historical film scandal is becoming a focus of attention in Korea today. The movie Snowdrop, starred by Ji Soo, made netizens angry because of real characters’ sensitive content in history. Many people worry that international fans will have a wrong view of Korean culture and history by romanticizing the spy character.

Ji Soo takes on the female lead in Snowdrop, so she faces a wave of the boycott of a part of the Korean public. Many people are disappointed because the Black Pink member chose the movie without learning about history or knowing but still intentionally acted. Before that, she said she loved studying Korean history, but she received falsework, distorted events in the past, so netizens found it difficult to accept.

Ji Soo is in trouble because the movie has the wrong history.

Although the JTBC station explained, asserting that Snowdrop did not have the rumored content but still did not make netizens “disarming,” still claimed to boycott the film.

Recently, Ji Soo was also “stoned” when posting photos taken on the set, showing off receiving a coffee car during filming. Black Pink member was evaluated as “thoughtless” when still posting news related to Snowdrop during a sensitive period. The audience is also calling for a boycott of the brands represented by the beauty Black Pink and Jung Hae In (the male lead Snowdrop).

Not only Ji Soo is in trouble, but another member of Black Pink is also having trouble because of controversy. Recently, Bazaar magazine has removed all of Lisa’s latest digital cover images on Weibo. The YG beauty had made fans proud when she appeared on the cover of a major magazine, but only a few days it was taken down.

Lisa’s magazine photo was taken down.

Chinese netizens believe that the reason is the advertising contract between Black Pink and Adidas. Previously, the famous shoe brand made the Chinese people angry when there were claims related to Xinjiang cotton. On Weibo was filled with calls to boycott Adidas products.

A series of cult artists such as Dilraba Dilmurat, Yang Mi, and Jackson Yee announced the termination of their contract with Adidas. Currently, on the brand’s official Weibo, only Black Pink’s advertising image is left. This makes Chinese netizens angry, saying that Black Pink also deserves a boycott. Under pressure from public opinion, Bazaar had to remove Lisa’s image on the official page despite the magazine’s release.
