BTS became the first Kpop artist in history to be nominated at the British Grammy award

In mid-March, BTS made Kpop fans proud to appear at the prestigious 2021 Grammy Awards as a performer and nominated in the Pop Performance category the best of the duo/group. Although not winning in this category, being called is enough to enroll in Kpop history.

BTS has made Kpop fans “bloated” proud when appearing at the prestigious 2021 Grammy Awards.

This pride has not ended, but BTS continues to achieve another miracle. On the morning of April 1, BRIT Awards 2021 announced nominations for a series of award categories. BRIT Awards is the British Record Industry’s annual music award, equivalent to the American Grammy Awards.

BTS was named in the International Group nomination with pop-rock band HAIM, rock band Foo Fighters, hip hop duo Run The Jewels, band Fontaines DC. These are mostly American groups. Worth mentioning, BTS is the first Korean group to be nominated for this prestigious award.

Announced on April Fool’s Day, people are especially “concerned” about this information’s reliability. Please be 100% confirmed that this is true! Nominations are posted on the official BRIT Awards page. The BRIT Awards ceremony is usually held in February, but this year has been postponed until May 11. The award ceremony will be broadcast live on ITV.
